Cuts Sharp Without Gouging or Marring 3M Finesse-it Hookit Film Disc 468LA is engineered by incorporating silicon carbide mineral into a matrix of repeating microstructures, and the film backing minimizes the chance for surface abnormalities. The micro-structured silicon carbide mineral cuts sharply enough to quickly remove imperfections, but not so much so that you risk gouging or marring the surface. Hookit Attachment Makes Changes Easy 3M offers a complete line of hook-and-loop style 3M Hookit discs for work spaces where adhesive backed discs may become contaminated by dust or dirt. They are often used in applications where a 3M Stikit product may be too aggressive, as Hookit products tend to leave finer finishes than adhesive-backed abrasives.
Hookit discs can be removed cleanly and easily, and can be re-used again and again for the extent of the abrasive life.
