Now available from grades 80+ through 1000+, these discs are designed for a wide array of substrates and applications,providing flexibility and versatility in use. The discs are effective for a broad range of tasks from stock removal to fine finishing on various substrates, including metals, paint coatings, composites, gelcoat, and different types of wood. The C-weight paper backing offers flexibility and is suitable for sanding applications where edge retention is not the main concern. For best results, pair with 3M Xtract Random Orbital Sanders. Sandpaper discs cut better and last longer when dust isn’t loading the cutting surface of the abrasives. The proprietary multi-hole pattern on 3M Xtract products removes dust at a higher rate than 5- or 6-hole products.
This hole design doesn’t even require alignment of holes with the disc pad, making disc changes quick and simple. For maximum dust extraction, use this disc with a 3M Xtract Back-up pad and a random orbital sander with vacuum (both sold separately).
