Exceptional Performance on Acrylics, Polycarbonates and Polyester As versatile as it is effective, 3M All Purpose Sealant Primer P591 works as well on substrates like metal, glass, plastics, wood and concrete as it does on acrylics, polycarbonate and polyester substrates. This primer is a low viscosity adhesion promoter designed for use with the 3M 500-Series Polyurethane Adhesives/Sealants and 3M Silane Modified Polymer 700-Series Adhesive Sealants, as well as the 3M Polyurethane Glass Adhesive Sealant 590 with or without 3M Adhesion Promoter AP596. 3M All Purpose Sealant Primer P591 prepares surfaces to maximize bonding. Bonding and sealing keeps moisture out and supports structural integrity.
For optimum performance, use with 3M Adhesive Sealants 550 and 590 on typical substrates like fiberglass, PVC, polycarbonate, aluminum, stainless steel, cold rolled steel and glass.
