Corrosion Protection Kit CPT-1/2
- Designed to provide protection for bulkhead termination connectors
- Ideal for use in standard and hazardous locations
- Includes an insulator assembly, mastic seal strip pack and instruction sheet
- Insulator is formulated with EPDM rubber which contains no chlorides or sulfur
- Offers protection from wet and salt-fog installation environments
- Provides tight sealing between NPT fitting threads and the enclosure using mastic strips
3M Cold Shrink Corrosion Protection Kit CPT Series are open-ended tubular rubber sleeves which are factory expanded and assembled onto a removable core. The core is removed after the assembly has been positioned for installation over a bulkhead terminator connector. Mastic strips are provided for sealing between NPT fitting threads and the enclosure in use (junction box, cabinet, panel board, etc.). The insulating sleeves are made of an EPDM rubber that contains no chlorides or sulfers.
