3M DBI-SALA Confined Space Extended Height Vehicle Hitch Mount Tube is constructed of extruded aluminium and finished in black powder coating. In applications where large vehicles are required for use with the 3M DBI-SALA Confined Space Vehicle Counterweighted Base, the component can be used to accommodate the increased hitch receiver height. Retrieval SRL Hitch Mount Device is designed as a portable temporary mounting point for retrieval self retracting lifelines or winches, designed for use in a horizontal or sloped plane.
The device is used in conjunction with a motor vehicle tow hitch to provide an effective fall arrest and retrieval system for a single person to work over a leading edge such as a mine stope, dam wall or other location with an inclined plane
