The Advanced Tank Pod System is designed to mount to tank manways with existing hardware for securing hatch covers. It mounts to manway flanges on bolt circle diameters from 19″ to 36″ (48.2 to 91.4 cm), with studs from 1/2″ to 3/4″ (1.2 to 1.9 cm) national coarse type. Three independently adjustable legs accommodate flange inclinations to a maximum of 45 degrees. The unit can be set up in an overhead clearance of only 25″. Lightweight anodized aluminum construction with plastic inserts at all bearing points reduce the possibility of vessel contamination and simplify equipment cleaning. The Tank Pod can be fitted with a variety of winches, ladder systems, and fall-arrest devices to meet any application requirement.
