The 3M Diamond Microfinishing Film Sheet 675L comes in a variety of grades – 9, 20, 30, 45, 74 and 125 micron to suit user needs. It is designed for use in thermal spray grinding and finishing projects. This product is made with diamond mineral that is designed to improve productivity and reduce the cost of finishing hard materials such as thermal spray coatings, ceramics and others. Additionally, this sheet delivers superior flexibility and 675L film sheets can be used to finish highly contoured thermal sprayed surfaces such as progressive cavity pumps and extruder screws.
Polyester-Backed Diamond Abrasive can be Run Wet or Dry
The polyester film backing supports both uniform finishes and aggressive cut rates. It is tear-resistant and non-compressible. The polyester backing is also water resistant so the sheet may be run with coolant if desired. Coolant is a desirable component for diamond polishing, since it efficiently cools both the work and the abrasive.
This is available in grades ranging from 125 to 9 micron giving users the range of grades for a variety of finish and stock removal needs. Collectively, these features make the 3M Diamond Microfinishing Film Sheet 675L an efficient, economical alternative in most applications.
