E-A-R Classic One Touch Refill 391-1001
- *U.S. EPA specifies the NRR as the measure of hearing protector noise reduction. However, 3M makes no warranties as to the suitability of the NRR for this purpose. 3M strongly recommends personal fit testing of hearing protectors. Research suggests that users may receive less noise reduction than indicated by the attenuation label value(s) on the packaging due to variation in fit, fitting skill, and motivation of the user. Refer to applicable regulations or guidance on how to adjust attenuation label values. It is recommended that the NRR be reduced by 50% to better estimate typical protection.

This earplug’s moisture resistant foam is initially firm to make fitting the earplug easier, softening once it’s in the ear to comfortably expand and conform to the shape of each ear canal. The slow recovery feature helps with earplug insertion by giving the user time to get the compressed foam cylinder (rolled down earplug) into the ear before the foam fully expands. Per-pair packaging options include a pillow pack that can be used to store earplugs between uses or a standard polybag; dispenser bottles for One Touch Pro dispenser are also available. Comes with or without cord to suit user preference.
This product is EARfit testable to help validate the level of protection the individual user can achieve with this product.
