Use 3M Resin CBN Grinding Wheel 1PBB for production and re-sharpening of rotary cutting tools, surface, centreless and cylindrical grinding, and as a standard solution on HSS applications.
The peripheral grinding wheels have an open bond structure delivering excellent profiling capabilities. The strong phenolic resin bond is wear resistant – giving extended wheel life, low grinding forces and reduced cost per piece.
They’re suitable for use with oil and emulsion cooling lubricants, making them ideal for universal usage with different materials, which helps to reduce set-up work and time per piece.
Improved surface quality and higher geometric accuracy is achievable, as well as reduced set-up efforts and shorter cycle-times to increase productivity and removal rates.
They’re compatible with conventional dressing sharpening tools.
