That’s why 3M engineers developed the Scotch-Brite Universal Surface Conditioning Back-up Pad. Designed for performance and flexibility, this pad can be used in multiple configurations depending on your disc type — with snap-in center post for discs with center holes, or without the center post for flat finishing applications. The Full System Advantage: The Scotch-Brite Universal Surface Conditioning Back-up Pad is part of a complete surface conditioning system. When you combine this back-up pad with Scotch-Brite Surface Conditioning Discs and a 3M Angle Grinder, you’re helping to set yourself up for a new level of productivity.
When used together, the effectiveness of each component is enhanced to provide optimal abrasive performance — including abrasive life, cut-rate and consistency.
