Use 3M Stikit disc rolls as multiple adhesive-backed abrasive discs rolled onto a core. This makes them easy to tear off one at a time for speed and efficiency, and there’s no need for liners which saves on material costs. They remove just as cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc. 3M recommend using Stikit discs with 3M Stikit Disc Pads. With its open coat construction and aluminum oxide mineral abrasive, the 3M Stikit Gold Disc Roll 236U provides a sharp cut – more aggressive than a comparable closed coat abrasive of the same grade. Durable C-weight paper backing makes the disc ideal for more aggressive jobs such as paint stripping around damaged areas and shaping filler.
The Stikit Gold Disc Roll 236U is available in a range of sizes, and works with all collision repair substrates including bare metal, e-coat, clear coat, fiberglass, paint, primer and plastic. Open coat construction means the abrasive grains on the 3M Stikit Gold Disc Roll 236U are placed with space between them to help clear sanding dust and other debris which avoids clogging the cutting edge of the grains. The anti-loading coating also allows the disc to continue cutting even when sanding materials that would otherwise clog the disc. All of this adds up to increased productivity and reduced material consumption.
