3M Trizact Cloth Roll 237AA uses proprietary 3M microreplication technology, encapsulating micron-graded aluminum oxide mineral inside tiny pyramids. These pyramids are evenly and distributed over an X weight cloth backing. While conventionally coated abrasives often have erratically spaced mineral, Trizact abrasives focus on uniformity. As pyramids wear, fresh, sharp mineral is exposed to produce a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. Altogether, this means fewer scraps and discards as a consequence of inconsistent results. Ongoing sharp cutting action minimizes the need to incorporate other abrasives in the sequence, thereby reducing processing steps and enhancing productivity.

X-Weight Backing Balances Conformability and Durability
Cloth Roll 237AA also features a grinding aid that dissolves and breaks down during grinding and finishing, helping to prevent heat buildup, warping, delamination and discoloration. It’s constructed on an X-weight, durable cloth backing which — because it is a heavier backing — helps provide more operator control and effective medium-pressure grinding. X-weight is considered a semi-flexible backing, so it strikes a balance between conformability and durability.

It’s available in a range of grades A6 to A160, so operators can choose the right grade for their unique application; the lower the A-grade, the finer the grade.
