Use 3M Vitrified Grinding Wheels 33VF for conventional grinding operations including creep feed and profile grinding of thin work parts such as engine valves.
The vitrified bonded grinding wheels with mono-crystalline aluminium oxide grains can also be used for outer diameter (OD) cylindrical grinding operations.
Mono-crystalline aluminium oxide minerals are moderately harder and tougher than standard white aluminium oxide grits, giving these grains higher friability and a low wear resistance that makes them ideal for grinding specific materials such as high alloyed or toughened steels, tools’ steel and Inconel.
