3M™ Trizact™ Cloth Belt 217EA uses proprietary micro-replication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral and then coated on a JE-weight rayon backing. As these pyramids wear, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed to produce a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish.

The heavyweight cloth backing supports high-pressure applications, performs well on heat-sensitive metals, and can be used dry or with lubricant.

Silicon carbide coated on cork particles, then onto a YF-weight, water resistant polyester cloth backing. Used for fine polishing and aesthetic finishing on stainless steel. Use wet or dry. Film Media Splice.
