The 3M DBI-SALA Rollgliss R550 Rescue and Descent Device offers the choice of controlled descent rescue, evacuation or the versatility of assisted rescue with lifting capabilities. This state of the art, fully automatic controlled descent device can be used for rescue and evacuation from heights up to 1,640 ft (500 m) for one user 310 lbs (141 kg) or 575 ft (175 m) for two users totaling 620 lbs (282 kg). It features 3/8 in (9.5 mm) super static kernmantle rope, and is configured with connecting hardware at each end of the lifeline to operate in both directions.

During assisted rescue scenarios, a fallen worker can be attached to the R550 device, raised to a point that allows their fall arrest device to be removed, then lowered to the ground safely.

Durable and versatile, the 3M DBI-SALA Rollgliss RPD Rescue Positioning Device with a 3:1 lifting ratio is designed for personal rescue operations and positioning for everyday industrial work. Including secure anchor straps, rope pulleys, 3/8 in. kernmantle rope, and durable carabiners that fit in a compact carrying bag, this pre-rigged rescue system offers easy storage and no special tools to operate efficiently. Fall protection equipment can save workers by lowering or raising them out of danger, or it can precisely place workers at any level and lock them in.

The 3M DBI-SALA Confined Space Bare Steel Uni-Anchor is designed for use with the 3M DBI-SALA Confined Space Portable Fall Arrest Post. This anchor can be welded to steel work surfaces and includes two holes for attachment of the post. Available with and without a secondary anchor point and conform with OSHA requirements.
