For anodizing, composite bonding and splicing, use 3M Polyester Tape 8403. This translucent green tinted tape is coated with a silicone adhesive that bonds well on difficult surfaces, including silicone coated papers and films. It is chemical resistant and performs under a wide range of temperatures and environments. This tape is a thicker version of 3M Polyester Tape 8402.

Comprised of a dead soft aluminum foil backing and coated with a highly engineered pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive, it is ideal for heat shielding, heat reflecting, chemical masking, light enhancement, chemical milling, seaming, sealing and de-paint operations.

3M Adhesive Transfer Tape 9453LE is a versatile, market proven, 3.5 mil (0.9 mm) transfer tape on a printed release paper liner. 3M Scotchrap Tape 50 is a premium grade, 10 mil thick, all weather, PVC backing tape. It withstands temperatures of 55 to 176 °F ( 48 to 80 °C). This high tack adhesive tape offers resistance to corrosion, impact, abrasion and puncture, making it suitable for use on metal piping systems, conduits and fittings both above and below ground.

3M High Performance Masking Tape 232 is capable of masking paint while removing cleanly. Its thick crepe paper backing contains a solvent-resistant saturant that helps resist paint bleed against latex- and oil-based paints.

3M Polyimide Tape 8998 is a dark amber colored polyimide tape with a silicone adhesive meant to withstand heat during high-temperature masking operations. It offers excellent thermal, chemical and abrasion resistance. It seals tight on contact and peels off clean at up to 500°F/260°C.

3M Double Coated Polyester Tape 442KW is a double sided tape featuring a rubber based adhesive, ideal for laminated bonding with semiconductor CMP polishing pads and clean removal from platens. A thin polyester (PET) film carrier helps the adhesive bond firmly to both platen and pad. A polycoated paper release liner provides excellent dimensional stability.

3M Polyester Tape 875 has a thin, high strength polyester film that provides a degree of conformability while meeting low caliper requirements. This tape works in demanding conditions and provides satisfactory performance in short term bake cycles at 400°F (204°C), as well as longer term autoclave processes up to 350°F (177°C).

3M Double Coated Adhesive Tape L1+DCP is a 3.5 mil double-coated polyester (PET) tape that provides added dimensional stability and improved handing during laminating or die cutting processes, particularly on thin or flexible substrates.
