3M High Temperature Nylon Film Tape 855 is designed for high-temperature applications. The 3.2 mil thick tape features a non-silicone rubber adhesive on a tough nylon backing that applies easily, removes cleanly and withstands short temperature bake cycles of 400°F/204°C without leaving residue. This makes for faster anchorage during subsequent painting and bonding vs. silicone-based adhesives.

3M Adhesive Transfer Tape F9465PC features a 5 mil medium-firm acrylic adhesive on a polycoated paper liner. It is designed to bond high surface energy (HSE) plastics and to resist the effects of plasticizer migration in flexible vinyls.

It is designed to deliver a durable, reclosable fastening solution (which can be opened and closed multiple times) that bonds to a variety of substrates including metals, powder-coated paints and plastics such as acrylics, polycarbonate and ABS.

Heavy Duty, Abrasion Resistant Protection – 3M Vinyl Tape 472 has a thick backing that combines high abrasion resistance with the inherent conformability of a vinyl. Designed with unique stretch properties, this tape conforms to irregular, curved and convex surfaces while remaining stretched and without lifting after application. The rubber adhesive aggressively adheres to a variety of surfaces and maintains its bond for long periods of time, including up to one year in outdoor applications. This combination of the backing and adhesive properties help to keep the tape securely in place, even in rugged and outdoor conditions.

Because of the thicker backing, this tape is ideal for protection in areas where heavy abrasion is anticipated, as well as sand blast and bead blast overspray protection. 3M Vinyl Tape 472 tape resists most common solvents, but care should be taken to avoid using on highly plasticized materials, as well as ketones, chlorinated hydrocarbons, and esters.

3M Polyester Tape 8412 is a transparent polyester film tape with excellent tensile strength and abrasion resistance. It features a tough, polyester backing and an acrylic adhesive. 3M Polyester Tape 8412 can be used for many heavy-duty, permanent edging and reinforcing types of applications.

3M Vinyl Foam Tape 4718 includes a closed cell, medium-density foam backing with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive on one side. It allows for quick-stick to a variety of substrates including many metals, glass and plastics. The silicone treated white paper liner allows for die cutting without having to laminate another liner to the foam.

For splicing applications requiring quick stick and an aggressive, permanent hold, use the 3M Polyester Film Tape 850 Silver. Used in a variety of applications, including web processing, label protection, and marking.
