3M Dual Brightness Enhancement Film (DBEF) is a family of polymer-based multilayer optical films that have polycarbonate laminated to both sides that manage the polarization output of light from LCD backlights. It is a reflective polarizer film that improves polarization efficiency by transmitting one polarization state and reflecting the other, recycling light back into the system, which increases brightness over a wide viewing angle. The increase in efficiency enabled by 3M polarization control can be used to offset key variables like energy consumption and thermal load in LCD applications.

3M Advanced Light Control Film (ALCF) uses Microlouver technology to deliver world-class effective “black out” privacy from side views outside the 60-degree viewing angle. Uses 3M optically clear adhesive for improved lamination and helps reduce reflections so you can see your screen clearly with pristine image clarity.
