3M Cubitron II Stikit Cloth Disc 900DZ features ceramic 3M Precision-Shaped Grain, a revolutionary advancement in abrasive technology. The triangular shaped ceramic mineral is designed to slice through the substrate, rather than gouging or “plowing” like conventional abrasives, resulting in a disc that cuts up to 2x faster than conventional abrasives. The J-weight cloth backing delivers outstanding tear resistance, durability and a consistent, uniform finish on a variety of substrates.

The additional conformability helps when sanding critical surfaces with fine grade abrasives, after leveling and refining sanding steps are complete, but before final surface finishing steps.

Interface Pad is 1/2-inch thick, medium density foam pad that provides additional surface conformability when used with a 3M™ Hookit™ backup pad on a 3M™ Random Orbital Sander. Protects the hooks on a new Hookit™ Pad with an inexpensive attachment device to be consumed in the application in place of a more expensive pad. Use on PN20435 BUP.
