It offers long-term holding power, very-high tensile strength, and excellent abrasion, moisture and scuff resistance.

Scotch Bi-Directional Filament Tape 8959 is a high strength, general purpose, clear fiberglass-reinforced tape with a synthetic rubber resin adhesive ideal for heavy box closure and cross web splicing. This tape resists center-seam splitting in RSC box closure applications. The synthetic rubber resin adhesive provides high adhesion to most surfaces.

It withstands temperatures up to 194 °F (90 °C) with emergency overload up to 266 °F (130 °C). The tape has excellent electrical and mechanical properties to provide moisture seal protection.

Scotch Tape 2510 is a 7 mil thick, premium grade varnished cambric tape that’s suitable for insulating bus bars, motor leads and service drop connections. The electrical properties of the tape remain stable in a temperature range of 32 to 221 °F (0 to 105 °C).
