Designed for used on web rollers, 3M Traction Tape 5401 provides a high coefficient of friction for tracking and tension of web material from start-up through wind-up. In addition, this tape provides a non-stick surface with easy release properties that won’t interfere with printing, converting or other web processes.

Constructed with a woven fiberglass backing, 3M General Purpose Glass Cloth Tape 3615 features a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive for applications requiring high-temperature resistance and high adhesion. It is often used for high temperature applications requiring high tensile strength and good holding power.

Scotch Filament Tape 898 is an ideal solution for full overlap L-clip box closures, bundling pipe or reinforcing large bulk containers. Filament-reinforced polypropylene backing provides excellent tensile strength in addition to abrasion, moisture, scuff and break resistance, even when nicked or punctured. To allow easier application, this tape is engineered to dispense consistently without curling. Its multi-layer synthetic-rubber adhesive system prevents delamination and bonds well to a variety of common packaging materials such as corrugated cardboard, fiberboard, plastic, and metals. Reinforcing glass filaments, powerful adhesive, and durable overall construction allow Scotch Filament Tape 898 to excell in harsh shipping environments.

For bundling pipe or coil tabbing, use Scotch Filament Tape 880. This filament-reinforced tape has a polypropylene backing reinforced with continuous polyester fibers to provide high tensile strength, impact and cut resistance. It resists abrasion, moisture, scuffing and breaks, even if nicked or punctured.

3M Super Bond Film Tape 396 offers the thin caliper tensile strength of polyester and high immediate holding strength of rubber adhesive for creating butt splices on low surface energy materials such as polyethylene and other difficult-to-adhere-to surfaces. Often referred to as a single-sided adhesive splicing and core starting tape.

Used to protect surfaces from abrasion, 3M UHMW-PE Film Tape 5425 is a thin caliper general purpose polyethylene tape that creates a “slip plane” effect to allow contact without wear. This tape features outstanding chemical resistance and a unique combination of properties that make it ideal for many tough impact wear or sliding applications.

3M Membrane Switch Spacer Single Coated 7997MP features 3M High Performance Acrylic Adhesive 200MP, formulated for excellent shear strength, on a 5 mil carrier. This white PET film provides a smooth, bright appearance, eliminating the need for floodcoat on overlays and keypads. The adhesive withstands repeated switch actuation and forms neat, clean edges for precise slitting and die-cutting.

3M Adhesive Transfer Tape 9471LE is a versatile, market proven, 2 mil (0.05 mm) transfer tape on a release liner. Featuring 3M 300LSE acrylic adhesive, this tape has a long and proven history of reliably bonding a wide variety of similar and dissimilar materials such as metals, most plastics, glass, papers and painted surfaces.

For heat shielding applications such as wrapping over and along thermal insulation, use 3M High Temperature Aluminum Foil Tape 433. This dead soft aluminum foil tape is coated with a clear silicone pressure sensitive adhesive that bonds well to a variety of surfaces and excels in high temperature applications, where other adhesive tapes may fail.

Scotch Box Sealing Tape 371 is an industrial grade packing tape that securely closes a wide variety of medium weight box materials. The polypropylene film backing is easy to unwind and resists abrasion, moisture and scuffing. The backing easily conforms around edges and on rough surfaces for a tight seal.
