- Can be applied with a felt-tipped applicator, pressurized flow gun, knurled roller or other similar applicator
- Formulated specifically for use with 3M Acrylic Foam Tape
- Improves bond strength of 3M Acrylic Foam Tape to various automotive substrates, such as ABS, EPDM, PP and TPO
- Ready to use with common application equipment, making the adhesion promoter easy to integrate into existing workflows
- Solvent system dries in less than 1 minute
With its ready-to-use formula, 3M Adhesion Promoter K500 can be easily integrated into existing workflows using common application equipment. It enhances bond strength to a range of materials including acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), chlorinated rubbers, ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), acrylonitrile ethylene styrene (AES), polypropylene (PP), thermoplastic olefin (TPO) and certain polyethylene terephthalate (PET)/polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) blends.
