Drillco 1000A156 is a size 7/8″ Silver and Deming straight shank drill designed for drilling low- and medium-tensile strength materials. The 1000A Series drill bits feature a 2.5″ flute length, uncoated, with a black oxide finish that reduces wear and promotes chip and coolant flow.

Silver and Deming drill bits are characterized by straight shanks that are smaller than the diameter of the bit. This 118 degree split point S and D drill bit with a straight shank of high speed steel for hardness and wear resistance. The round shank accommodates most drill chucks.

Precision ground for a high degree of concentricity between shank and body diameter.The 118 degree split point reduces thrust and eliminates walking at the drill point.
