The Drillco Series 1000N 5/8 S&D Reduced Shank Drill has drill bits that all feature a 3″ flute length and 6″” overall length. Recommended for use in stainless steel and other hard metal drilling.

About the Drillco Nitro 1000N Silver Deming Drill Series
Silver and Deming drill bits are characterized by straight shanks that are smaller than the diameter of the bit. This 118 degree split point S and D drill bit with a straight shank features a Nitride surface treatment for increased hardness. Nitride provides a protective layer that increases drill bit hardness without increasing brittleness. The Nitro 1000N Series also features a drill bit body and clearance this is black and gold treated for maximum lubricity. Measurably harder than high speed steel.
The 118 degree split point reduces thrust and eliminates walking at the drill point.
