- Stepless shearbolt barrel and contact pad ensures optimun contract pressure for reliable performance and mechanical pull-out strength
- Withstands a maximum temperature of 221 °F (105 °C)
3M QCI Shearbolt Splice Connector is a mechanical screw connector with stepless shear bolts. The stepless shear bolt shears at the same location regardless of AWG or metric conductor and comes with a centering ring for smaller conductors. In addition to the stepless shear, the bolt employs a contact disk end which avoids damage to the conductor strands while providing increased contact force. The connector is compatable for use with 3M Cold Shrink QSIII and QS4 Medium Voltate Splices. Its built in center stop allows for correct positioning. The connector meets the requirements of ANSI 199.4, class 2 pull out and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
