This marine adhesive is great for cosmetic seals over permanent adhesive material. It becomes tack-free in as little as 22 minutes, and it typically cures in as little as 24 hours. It is also immediately paintable after curing – so you can get right back out on the water. Marine grade sealant applies right from the container with no mixing required, and cures to form a firm, flexible, waterproof seal.

Yet its medium-strength adhesive allows you to disassemble boat parts without damaging them after long-term use. It is ideal for use on wood, glass, gelcoat and fiberglass as well as many metals and plastics, and recommended for topside components like hatches, portlights, metal hardware as well as porthole seals. Like the 4200 marine sealant adhesive, it dissipates stress caused by vibration and shock, and won’t crack under dynamic force. It resists salt, wind, weather and temperature extremes just as effectively for years of worry-free enjoyment on the water.

3M Tape Sheets 822 are pre-cut to 4” x 6” sheets for convenient carrying and “dispenser-less” taping for easy application. Each 25 sheet layered pad has a removable paper tab and is designed for in-field repair of damaged packages, shipping label protection and other, miscellaneous packaging applications such as sealing envelopes and small packages.

For applications requiring adhesion to oily surfaces, use Scotch Filament Tape 890MSR. This filament-reinforced tape is ideal for bundling and wrapping applications on heavy gauge metals or applications that might become exposed to gas or oil. It offers long-term holding power, very-high tensile strength, and excellent abrasion, moisture and scuff resistance.

3M Scotch-Weld Plastic & Rubber Instant Adhesive PR100 is formulated for exceptional performance on difficult-to-bond substrates, such as EPDM, polypropylene, and polyethylene, with the use of an appropriate primer. When applied, this adhesive has a short handling time of 20 seconds, with a full cure in 24 hours; once cured, it creates a strong, durable, and lasting bond, with high overlap shear strength. During use, 3M Scotch-Weld Plastic & Rubber Instant Adhesive PR100‘s flexible container allows for two application methods, either pinch for a precise drop, or squeeze for a steady bead.

3M Nitrile High Performance Rubber and Gasket Adhesive 847 is a versatile, solvent-based, high-performance adhesive with comparatively-low viscosity for easy application. Offering good heat resistance, this adhesive is commonly used for bonding neoprene, SBR, and butyl rubbers to metal, wood, and numerous plastics. 3M Nitrile High Performance Rubber and Gasket Adhesive 847 dries quickly and delivers up to 15 minutes of working time for repositioning and adjustments, making it an ideal choice for applications such as gasket bonding, attaching rubber to various substrates (should not be applied to EPDM or TPO), and patching rubber.

3M Double Coated Tape 444 features 3M Adhesive 300, a medium-firm acrylic adhesive ideal for joining materials that are smooth, thin and have low residual stress. It is excellent for foams and LSE plastics such as polyethylene, as well as HSE plastics. Adhesive is applied to both sides of a 0.5 mil PET film which adds structural stability. This tape features a 55# densified kraft liner.
